For a project at our client ‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for two


Senior IT Business Analyst / Product Owner - Compliance & Risk Functions

In this role you will be part of a dynamic team driving the Execution Delivery, Program Management & COO activities for both, Compliance and Risk functions.



Your Qualifications:


  • Several years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner or similar function with solid understanding of product ownership, agile and scrum principles

  • Experience with IT platforms or portals and able to translate clients’ needs to user stories

  • Storytelling skills to explain technology clearly to non-technical users

  • Experience in the Regulated Technologies industry and/or compliance domain within the financial industry is an advantage

  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations with advanced technical and excellent documentation skills

  • Strong Stakeholder Management skills (Agile, Scrum) with the ability to quickly understand complex processes and requirements and summarize to be understood by senior mgmt. incl. relevant presentation skills (preparation & communication)

  • Competency in other applications including, JIRA, Confluence, Balsamiq would be an advantage

  • Fluent in English



Your Responsibilities:


  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions

  • Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies with business stakeholders

  • Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings with business and senior stakeholders

  • Responsible for performing requirements analysis and documenting of results

  • Effectively communicating and planning for cross-functional team members and management

  • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports

  • Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements

  • Performing different levels of testing and writing test reports

  • Updating, implementing and maintaining procedures of the banks

  • Prioritizing workload based on business needs and requirements

  • Managing competing resources and priorities in a high pressure environment

  • Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects
