For a project at our client‘s site, an international organization based in Geneva, we are looking for a
Survey Data Analyst
In this role you will support the implementation of quality surveys and the further use of survey data (beyond only coverage estimates) to inform the immunization program.
Your Qualifications:
- Successfully completed University degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Proficiency in Stata and/or R to analyse data from surveys using a complex design
- 1+ year of experience including data management and analysis
- Familiarity with vaccine-preventable diseases and immunization and also with analysis of survey data
- Ability to work independently, as well as coordinating and engaging with persons from a multicultural environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to use communication technology to interact virtually with persons from all over the world
- Fluent in English
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop a concept note and work plan for the proposed analyses of MOV along with other related indicators
- Convert survey datasets to a format that is compatible with existing tools for vaccination coverage survey analyses. Document the steps taken and programme/code used in the process
- Produce results tables and graphs in Excel format, following the agreed upon data analysis plan
- Produce a report and/or manuscript describing the analysis methodology, findings and implications of the findings for the Immunization Programme
- Produce a practical step-by-step guidance document aimed at analysts worldwide
- Produce a document to help interpret MOV results aimed at immunization programmes worldwide
- Document the difficulties and solutions used to accomplish the previous outputs and draft a report and/or manuscript with suggestions for improvement/lessons learned
