Lab Technician Sensors (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
  • Set up, operate, and maintain water flow measurement experiments
  • Perform measurement series according to defined test plans
  • Configure and operate laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, arbitrary waveform generators, power supplies, electronic loads, and data-acquisition systems
  • Prepare test objects and make basic modifications to electronic and mechanical test setups
  • Check measurement plausibility and identify obvious setup or data-quality problems
  • Organize, label, and store measurement data in a traceable manner
  • Perform basic data processing and create plots or summaries using Python
  • Document test configurations, procedures, observations, and results
  • Support the improvement and automation of recurring measurement procedures


Main qualifications:
  • Practical experience with measurement setups
  • Practical experience with electronic laboratory equipment
  • Basic understanding of analogue and digital signals
  • Ability to document work clearly and communicate unexpected observations
  • Reliable and practically oriented person who enjoys experimental work.
  • Experience with Python and Git
  • Fluent in English, German is an advantage
