Beschreibung
For an international client, we are looking for an experienced IT project manager with a strong data background (m/f/d) to lead a dedicated data workstream within a company-wide digital transformation programme.
The engagement covers three equal pillars – data governance, data engineering, and data architecture – within a broader digital transformation context.
The focus is on defining how data is structured, managed, and protected across the organisation, including ensuring compliance with cross-border data access requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project management of the data workstream, including planning, stakeholder coordination, and milestone tracking
- Define data architecture frameworks and support data engineering delivery across the programme
- Establish data governance structures, including data scope, ownership, classification, and access control concepts
- Ensure data residency and cross-border compliance requirements are met (e.g., restricting access to sensitive data by geography or user group)
Requirements:
- Proven project management experience spanning data governance, data engineering, and data architecture in complex enterprise environments
- Hands-on understanding of data architecture design, data pipeline delivery, and governance framework implementation
- Experience with access control and permission concepts (IAM, RBAC, data classification, or equivalent)
- Background in international or cross-border data compliance within large-scale digital transformation programmes
Project details:
- Start: July 2026
- Duration: 6 months with option to extend
- Workload: Full-time
- Location: Minimum 3 full days per week onsite, remainder remote
- Language: English
