For one of our clients in the defence sector, we are currently looking for two experienced Infrastructure Network Engineers (Mid/Senior Level) to support an ongoing project in Hengelo, Netherlands.
Position: 2x Infrastructure Network Engineer (Mid/Senior)
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6–12 months
Location: Hengelo, Netherlands – 3 days/week on-site, 2 days remote

Important: Due to project requirements, only candidates who are currently residing in the Netherlands can be considered.
Strong experience with Linux / Red Hat administration
Hands-on experience with Ansible
Experience with network installation, configuration and support
Practical experience setting up PCs, switches and network cabling
Experience installing and configuring larger software packages
Ability to create clear user and technical documentation
Strong hands-on background in infrastructure setup and system integration
Practical engineering mindset rather than a traditional Enterprise IT consulting background
Set up and commission the OCT training environment
Install and configure hardware and software components
Build, configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure
Perform hands-on infrastructure and integration activities
Document the implemented solution and create relevant user documentation
Support testing and integration phases of the GM200 system
Collaborate with engineering and project teams throughout implementation and commissioning
We are looking for hands-on Infrastructure / Network Engineers who are comfortable working directly with hardware, Linux systems and network infrastructure.
The ideal candidates have experience in technically complex environments and are able to independently install, configure, troubleshoot and document infrastructure solutions.
Experience within defence, aerospace, mission-critical or similarly regulated technical environments would be an advantage.
