We are currently looking for a talented Data Scientist to join an exciting AI and machine learning project in Brussels, Belgium.
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Work Mode: Hybrid – 1 day per week onsite
Location: Belgium or neighbouring countries
Requirement: Candidates must be willing and able to travel to Brussels for one day per week onsite.
We are looking for candidates with experience in the following areas:
Python & Data Science: Advanced analytics, modelling and automation using Python and pandas.
Machine Learning & NLP: scikit-learn and Hugging Face Transformers.
Generative AI & RAG: AI assistants, retrieval pipeline optimisation, vector and similarity search, including FAISS.
AI Safety: Guardrails and red teaming to mitigate hallucinations, bias and prompt injection.
Explainable & Auditable AI: Transparency, feature attribution, model interpretation and traceable decisions.
MLOps & Deployment: CI/CD, MLflow, Langfuse, model registries, testing, APIs, serving frameworks and Docker.
Databases & Search: PostgreSQL, Oracle and Elasticsearch.
AI Governance & Compliance: GDPR, the EU AI Act, bias monitoring, drift detection, model cards and responsible AI practices.
