We are looking for IT Consultants for the following project fromour client in Switzerland.
Details as given below.

Role: Data Engineer in Testing
Location: Zurich, Switzerland (Switss Citizen / Must be a resident of Switzerland only)
Work Mode: Hybrid mode (3days on-site per week)
Hiring Type: Contract
Duration: 6 months

Data Engineer in Testing
  1. 7 Years minimum relevant experience required.
  2. Handson experience in working with test automation of complex data transformation pipelines
  3. Experience in Designing and optimizing data testing frameworks
  4. Proven experience in performing functional testing to assess for accuracy, suitability, and functionality.
  5. Ability to create test strategies and plans for manual and automated test methods.
  6. Experienced in Python and PySpark, working knowledge on Databricks. Keen on overall processing / compute cost optimization
  7. Experienced with Microsoft Azure and other services, and Airflow
  8. Prior working knowledge of any test management tool ALM, Xray or Squash
  9. Experience with the overall STLC (Software Testing Lifecycle) stages
MUST HAVE SKILLS
  1. Python and PySpark are the language used across multiple agile pod within the team
  2. Knowledge of different types of testing and respective test phases
  3. Test Automation Framework: Cucumber / TestNG as per project setup
  4. Automation Frameworks: Data-Driven Frameworks as per project setup
  5. Build Tools: Gitlab as per project setup
  6. API Testing: Postman / SoapUI as per project setup
  7. Big Data Testing: Python and PySpark, general usage of spark data processing engine
  8. Understanding of cloud platform (Azure) and DevOps pipelines
  9. Experience in Regulatory and Compliance Domain
  10. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
OTHER BAU QA SKILLS (Supporting Skills)
  1. Experience with test data identification and creation
  2. Have a good understanding of non-functional test concepts (e.g., scalability, performance, and security)
  3. Experience in leveraging Gitlab
  4. Ability to work analytically and systematically throughout the development and testing life cycle
  5. Experience of Agile and iterative development methodologies
  6. Well-developed business communication skills – both written and verbal
  7. Strong personal prioritization and time management
  8. Methodology knowhow on how to ensure that project deliverables meet industry best practices
  9. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and synthesizing skills (should be a quick learner and know how to figure things out with very minimal external help)
