Automation OT Technician (French Speaking)

Job Function:

For a leading pharmaceutical company in Neuchâtel, we are looking for an Automation OT Technician to support the site's OT infrastructure and collaborate closely with IT, Manufacturing, Engineering, Validation, and Quality teams.

Key Requirements:

• Industrial IT / Automation OT degree (CFC or ES Technician) or equivalent.
• Preferably 2-3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical, or food industry.
• Knowledge of GMP environments and required change management and validation processes.
• Good experience with Microsoft tools.
• Experience with patching processes, including Windows and application updates, assessment, and testing.
• Experience with data management and communication layers (OPC UA).
• Experience in writing functional and design specifications.
• Dynamic and motivated personality with a strong team spirit.
• Technical curiosity and the ability to learn and share knowledge.
• Methodical and rigorous approach to work with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge and use of standard IT tools.

Languages:

• French: Fluent
• English: Technical proficiency

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cybersecurity management.
• Experience with networking technologies, including routing, subnets, VLANs, firewall rules, and industrial networks (EtherNet/IP).
• Experience with Linux, including operating system and application updates and support.
• Knowledge of Automation OT software and tools, such as SCADA, HMI, and communication protocols.
• Knowledge of database management and administration (Oracle and MS SQL).
