I was responsible for Financial planning, analysis, investor and banks reportng (HGB, management
standard), leading team of two analysts directly and two indirectly (horizontal structure), working in
closest collaboraton with accountng and treasury teams.
Due to the nature of startup business my field required a lot of new developments, gap analysis,
finding improvements from all sides - FP&A and accountng processes, reportng structure, planning
accuracy and company sustainability.
We were actvely engaged in finance business partnering, playing the central role in strategic
decision making, new products development, pricing policy; performing ongoing financial modelling
and analysis, aiming to unfold profitability potental, smoother processes and more efficient setups
(cross-func&onal projects).

Setup art space in Berlin (retail, services): business model dev, busines plan, registration Gewerbeamt, Handelsregister, Finanzamt. Operational setup: cash-flow, accounting, reporting, KPIs, marketing strategy, risk strategy.

Support of General Manager Finance in FP&A: active role in Strategic planning and forecasing, HQ reporting, Plan/Fact analysis, IFRS reporting (incl. UK GAAP), tax reconciliation, Pricing policy development, Margin calculation and management - methodology and calculations. Chart of accounts improvements. Training and coaching of new team members, knowledge base transfer to the local team.
