The Challenge
Joined a startup as technical lead to build a knowledge-management platform. Small codebase, no infrastructure, an aggressive timeline — every architectural decision was mine to make and own.
What I did
- Architected and built the full stack: a React / Next.js frontend, a Hono RPC backend, and PostgreSQL with Drizzle ORM.
- Stood up the entire cloud setup on Hetzner Cloud with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
- Integrated LLM features end to end with the AI SDK, designing the prompt flows and streaming UX.
- Adopted an AI-first workflow for code review, refactoring, and rapid iteration on complex features.
The Challenge
An enterprise aviation client ran a business-critical application on aging .NET WebForms. I was brought in to define and lead the migration to a modern Angular frontend.
What I did
- Defined the migration strategy and target architecture for the new Angular frontend.
- Drove the key technical decisions and set the patterns the team built on.
- Prioritized technical excellence and performance from the start.
The Challenge
Part of a small, high-impact team maintaining the code review platform behind Google's entire engineering org. The features we owned directly shaped global developer productivity and satisfaction.
What I did
- Led data-driven product improvements by analyzing user behavior patterns.
- Improved IDE integration and measurably reduced review friction.

Outcome
