I am a software engineer with more than six years of professional experience across software development, backend systems and engineering delivery. I am now focusing my career on cloud infrastructure, DevOps and automation.
At Cognizant Mobility in Germany, working on a project for a leading German automotive OEM, I built infrastructure monitoring and observability using AWS services and New Relic. This included dashboards and alerts that gave engineering teams better visibility into incidents, logs and system performance. I also developed Python and AWS Lambda automation around CI/CD failures, giving developers the diagnostic information they needed without having to investigate several systems manually.
Earlier in my career, I worked across iOS development, Python/Django backend systems, PostgreSQL, Redis, Celery, Docker and Jenkins. At OpenXcell, I progressed from Software Engineer to Team Lead, iOS, leading a seven-person engineering team with responsibility for architecture, project planning, code reviews, delivery, client communication and mentoring junior developers.
After relocating to Germany, I completed a Master's degree in Software Engineering for Industrial Applications at Hof University of Applied Sciences. My thesis examined enterprise infrastructure migration from VMware ESXi to Proxmox, with a focus on scalability, cost optimisation and secure cloud operations. I have also developed my infrastructure skills further through professional certification and practical projects, including Terraform.
I am now targeting Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Automation and related platform or reliability roles. My aim is to combine cloud infrastructure, automation and Python with the broader software engineering experience I have built over the course of my career.
I am also interested in how AI and GenAI are changing software engineering, automation and cloud environments. While this is an area in which I am continuing to develop my knowledge rather than one in which I claim extensive professional experience, I am open to opportunities where these technologies form part of the wider engineering environment.
I am based in the Munich area, have German work authorisation and hold Telc B1 German. I plan to progress to B2.
