Sourcing Manager / Project Manager WAN as freelance contractor for datacenter / Interconnect connectivity new build + migration, MS Azure ExpressRoute new build + migration, AWS Direct Connect new build + migration).

 

Managed to complete difficult datacenter interconnect migrations full approved (e.g. AWS Direct Connect, MS Azure ExpressRoute) at the targeted time scale in a very complex international enterprise network.

Ich war verantwortlich für die Projekt Portfolio Cluster CEE, Central & Shared Services) und habe ca 60 Projekte als Portfolio Manager bzw. als Projekt Manager erfolgreich ohne KPI Bruch an die operativen Betriebe übergeben.
  In energy sector project manager for an ICT sourcing contract in transition phase project manager for overall process alignment and to initialize the order & delivery processes in service management.

Tasks:

    •  Project manager for roll-out of WAN services (MPLS/VPN) in the entire EMEA region (29 countries including Russian Federation/Ukraine) and North Africa for an international chemical/utility group.
    •  Special challenges:
Migration of the sites in Russia (national regulatory requirements, geographical expansion, site connections).
Highlight:
Time-critical hub relocation in Moscow was provided on schedule. Project model became the blueprint for new WAN projects in Russia.
    • We created high customer buy-ins, especially among the customer stakeholders in the EMEA regions.
    • Effective supplier control e.g. subsequent hardware exchange enforced.
    •  Helped to conclude a premature contract extension with the end customer.
