Positionierung

The travelling catering company was characterized by significant personnel and economic upheavals. High staff turnover and repeated changes in financial management led to a loss of knowledge and unstable processes. In addition, numerous isolated IT solutions made transparency and consistent reporting to management and corporate headquarters difficult. The goal was to restore process stability and reporting transparency to ensure operational security in day-to-day business.
As Interim CFO, I reorganized the finance department, filled critical roles, eliminated technical deficits in accounting, ensured the timely preparation of monthly financial statements and the group reporting package, including reporting to management and group headquarters, prepared the annual audit, and supported budget preparation and forecasting.
I ensured that monthly financial statements and group reporting package were prepared on time, so monthly reporting ran smoothly, within schedule, and without any complaints. I stabilized the team in terms of personnel and strengthened its technical expertise, thereby closing knowledge gaps and reducing dependencies. Operational processes were standardized so day-to-day business could once again be conducted reliably and predictably. Stabilized financial organization and standardized processes reduced dependencies and minimized errors.
The mechanical engineering company was acquired two years previously by a private equity investor from a group of companies. During this time, the company did not become profitable. The situation was economically tense. The finance department was characterized by significant personnel changes. At the same time, the company had to fulfill its reporting requirements.
As interim CFO, I stabilized the department in terms of personnel and eliminated personnel and technical deficits in the accounting department; ensured smooth monthly reporting to the management and the private equity investor, prepared the annual financial statements and the group reporting packages, accompanied the annual audit as well as the reorganization and restructuring of the company.
I ensured that the monthly financial statements were prepared on time and the monthly reporting was carried out smoothly without objections by audit and tax audit and the reorganization and restructuring was carried out smoothly.
