Worked on a Common Data Environment platform for the construction industry using C# / .NET backend and Angular (TypeScript) frontend. Built and maintained core features for a shared platform used by over 1 million users worldwide. Focused on file upload performance and user experience in a high-volume, data-intensive area of the product. Collaborated with distributed teams in a remote/hybrid engineering culture built around async communication and shared ownership.
Designed and built a system for encrypted file storage and revision that did not rely on the hosting server being trustworthy or secure. Designed a keyring structure so the user's machine only needed to store a single master key. Built a FUSE module in C for normal file-explorer access to encrypted files, plus a companion GUI (Avalonia, C#) for sharing and additional functionality. Tech: C#, C, Avalonia, FUSE, MediaWiki.
Contributed to a user-facing web application (AngularJS) controlling a liquid-handling lab robot, connected to a Python backend running on a Linux server with a MongoDB database. Started in a combined testing and development role, then transitioned fully into feature development. Gained early exposure to full-stack ownership from UI down to device communication.
