Built product features end to end, from database design and backend APIs to frontend. Implemented 60+ APIs with Python and FastAPI and integrated AI workflows for fleet documents, automating document classification, information extraction, filtering and anomaly detection across PostgreSQL, pgvector, React, Next.js and AWS.
Joined as the first engineer and built the platform end to end, covering architecture, databases, backend, frontend, infrastructure and deployment on AWS. Developed the product with Python, Flask, React, Next.js, PostgreSQL, Redis and Elasticsearch, including its real-time auction engine, payment workflows and recommendation system, with PyTorch used for embeddings, collaborative filtering and ranking. The platform processed approximately $100M in monthly transaction value.
Rebuilt the product into a consumer social platform and owned it end to end, including real-time messaging, posts, comments, profiles, book tracking and discovery. Built the data platform underneath it, aggregating, normalizing and indexing 150M+ books from multiple sources and feeding them into recommendation pipelines for personalized discovery.
