Product designer, 10+ years, specialised in design systems, with projects in large corporate environments. I take fragmented, inconsistent interfaces and turn them into documented component libraries that teams can actually build on. I work the full process from requirements through wireframes and interactive Figma prototypes to developer handoff, and I build front-end myself in HTML/CSS and Webflow, so feasibility conversations with developers are direct rather than back-and-forth.
At bp I owned the Aral pulse design system, the German brand layer built on top of bp pulse, covering components, theming and localisation, and contributed to the bp pulse system itself. As part of bp's UK-based Global Design team I was responsible for the German market across the mobile app and charge-point experience, from brief through usability testing with German customers and validation with market stakeholders to launch, including several local initiatives that increased customer lifetime value.
For WSW Wuppertaler Stadtwerke, a municipal utility and transport group with ~3,300 employees and around €1.3bn in revenue, I stepped into the lead designer role mid-engagement at shetani and consolidated a fragmented UI landscape into a unified, documented component library. I delivered an internal dashboard and a 300+ page website redesign, restructured the information architecture, and ran accessibility audits that resolved critical WCAG violations.
Independently, I built and launched Zoma UI (zomaui.com), a commercial Figma design system with 5,100+ components and variants, 680+ styles and variables, and a semantic token hierarchy where one change cascades across light and dark themes and Web, iOS and Android. Built to WCAG 2.1 throughout, with validated contrast pairs on every interactive component. Live since 2024 and maintained since.
Alongside that, 30+ freelance clients since 2015, from early-stage startups to established companies, across SaaS, e-commerce, energy and sustainability. Web, app and brand design end to end, from research through to Webflow front-end build.

Projekthistorie
A complete commercial Figma design system, designed, built, and launched solo in 2024–2025; live at zomaui.com and maintained since.
• Architected 5,100+ components and variants, 680+ styles and variables, and 330+ ready-made sections, with a semantic token hierarchy, variant logic, and full component states.
• Engineered tokens so a single change cascades across light/dark themes and Web, iOS, and Android.
• Built to WCAG 2.1 throughout: 100% Auto Layout, 4px grid, validated colour-contrast pairs on every interactive component.
• Owned the full product end to end: brand identity, marketing site (designed and front-end built in Webflow), and launch.
Project-based web, app, and brand design for 30+ clients across a wide range of sectors and company sizes.
• Designed and built digital products end to end, research, UX/UI, and Webflow front-end build, from concept to launch.
• Built component libraries and reusable design systems for SaaS and client products.
• Worked directly with founders, marketing teams, and developers, owning each project and client relationship end to end.
Part of bp's UK-based Global Design team, responsible for design discovery and delivery for the German market, one of bp pulse's key e-mobility markets (bp pulse / Aral pulse).
• Owned the Aral pulse design system, the German brand layer built on bp pulse, covering components, theming and localisation; contributed to the bp pulse design system.
• Ran the design lifecycle from brief to market launch: adapted and localised global designs across the mobile app and charge-point experience under the Aral pulse brand.
• Conducted usability testing with German customers; validated localised designs with market stakeholders and verified delivery quality with the local team.
• Successfully launched several local initiatives aimed at increasing customer lifetime value.
• Improved accessibility (WCAG 2.1) and design-to-dev workflows.
