Summary
Interim engineering and product leadership. Over 15 years in automotive, e-mobility, energy, aviation and e-commerce, most recently as Head of Software Development in the charging joint venture of BMW, Mercedes and BP, where I built the internal engineering organisation to around 60 developers, architects and product owners and moved 130+ people from component-based to cross-functional teams. Since 2023 in interim mandates at ZF and the BMW Group. My current focus is AI-native engineering: I work hands-on with LLMs every day, in development as well as in product work, and know the difference between what gets announced and what an organisation can actually absorb. I started as a developer, which still shapes how I lead.
