Role & Background:For our client in the pharmaceutical sector we are looking for a Product Data Analyst. The role of the Product Data Analyst, a member of the Data and Analytics Center of Excellence, is based in Global Supply Chain (PTS).
The role of the Product Data Analyst (PDA) plays a critical role in the master data management and maintenance part. The PDA is a member of the Product Supply Chain Team and interacts with Product Supply Chain Owner, Supply Planner, Demand Planner, Product Artworks Owner and Order Fulfillment Manager. The PDA has the end to end responsibility for the setup of global product master data and the corresponding supply chain setup in the different SAP ERP and SAP APO systems. For that the PDA interacts with all global and local material master data groups, including other stakeholders that are part of the E2E material master data processes (Quality, Finance,..).
The PDA will also perform Supply Chain Analytics and develop new Reporting Tools with Supply Chain users and IT.
Pharma Global Technical Operations (PT) makes medicines at several sites around the world. At the core of PT are several SAP ERP and planning systems that enable the planning, production, release, distribution, and sales. These systems require high quality data.
Your main tasks & Responsibilities:
- E2E responsibility for product master data for assigned product families and ensure implementation is completed on time
- Monitoring of product master data creation, change and retirement progress
- Active participation in the different product and project related working groups with an impact on Global Product Data Management
- Provide guidance and transparency to key customers and stakeholders
- Perform product master data and Supply Chain analysis
- Drive data compliance to decisions and standards by auditing accuracy, readiness and completeness
- Gather Supply Chain users input for developing new "state of the art" Tools for Reporting and Analytics
- Responsible for acting as a liaison between the technical data science resources and supply chain users for developing new Reporting tools
Additional tasks
- Generation of KPIs and health indicators
- Generation of team metrics and team reports on weekly/monthly basis
- Coordination of product master data for launch or divestment products
- SAP ERP or APO Super User
- Execution of periodic data audits and analysis with Data Content Owners
You have the following skills and experiences:
- 5 y+ years business experience in supply chain in the pharmaceutical industry
- Proven knowledge of SAP/R3 (MM) or SAP/S4 Hana applications / SAP APO / SAP ERP
- Expert knowledge with Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel: Formulas/ Diagrams /Pivots)
- Advanced Knowledge of Reporting & Analytics tools (E.g. but not limited to: BW, Tableau, Python, SAC)
- Profound logistics knowledge (e.g. APICS certification)
- Analytical Problem Solving - Ability to identify problems, define problem statement clearly and accurately and apply structured methodology to identify data-driven root causes. Innovative and effective in solution development, risk mitigation, and execution; able to synthesize large amounts of information
- Self-motivated, proactive, well organized, flexible, customer-oriented team player with a high level of communication skills
- Result driven with a flexible approach and able to navigate in a global environment
- Fluent in oral and written English - other languages skills are a plus
- Excellent planning and prioritization skills with the ability to multitask
- Positive attitude - Perceives constant change and development as opportunity for the company, the process and him-/herself.
- Eager to learn new tools
- Ability to train users for Reporting and Analytics Tool
- Bachelor degree in business administration (or comparable) degree is a nice to have
- German is a nice to have
