Our client, one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies based in Basel, is looking for a Professional Business Analyst (BI/BW) having excellent knowledge of BW/BI Architecture, Datamodelling, Design and Build in addition to experience in the areas such as MM, FI-CO, ABAP etc.
This is a long term contracting role based in Basel and planned to start from beginning of October until the end of 2019 with extensions opportunities.

Background:
The Business Analyst (BI/BW) role reports into the Supply Chain Capabilities team. In this role, you will be working closely with the Clinical Supply Chain Management organization, and will be responsible for designing and delivering high quality reports and dashboards in order to help translate data into actionable insights. We are looking for an experienced analyst who will be able to work autonomously with minimum level of supervision.
Tasks:
- Build deep understanding of the Clinical Supply Chain Management area
- Work closely with the business stakeholders to analyze requests and deliver high quality reports & dashboards, ensuring they meet business requirements
- Act as key interface between Informatics support and the business community
- Analyze and design Back End/Front End solutions
- Maintain and refine solutions to become more agile
- Ensure consistency in design and re-usability for different applications to maximize user-experience
- Manage stakeholders (including communications)
Ideal Profile:
- 5 years of BW experience as Business Analyst
- Excellent knowledge of BW/BI Architecture, Datamodelling, Design and Build, ABAP
- Advanced data visualization skills in Tableau
- Experience/Knowledge in areas such as MM, FI-CO, ABAP
- Pharmaceutical experience
- Great team player and self-organized with a minimum level of supervision
- Strong customer focus skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (excellent English language skills)
Nice to Haves:
- Knowledge of BI LSA and development guidelines
- Additional SAP Certifications
