For our client in the Frankfurt area we are seeking for a Senior SME SAP Data Services (Data Migration) Consultant (m/f)Responsibilities:
- Manage several instances of “SAP Data Services” (formerly known as Business Objects Data Integrator) from an operational IT-perspective – Tool installed already
- Establish connectivity between source systems, “SAP Data Services” and target systems
- Challenge and support development of the ETL-approach for our data migration
- Align with Business Experts/Analysts and other Migration Experts to develop a comprehensive set of ETL-rules
- Transfer mapping-tables into mappings in “SAP Data Services”
- Configure end-to-end ETL-procedures based on functional input from Business Analysts
- Consult others in writing applicable test cases for all ETL-steps; partly write those individually
- Report on the status of ETL activities
- Mentor for internal user of “SAP Data Services”, providing clear and constructive feedback and creating opportunities for learning and growth
Requirements:
- Proven experience with large-scale software migration projects, from planning to execution
- Expert knowledge of the “SAP Data Services” Tool
- Proven usage of “SAP Data Services” for the purpose of data migrations
- Ability to work with a wide range of source- (incl. Host-systems) and (cloud-based) target-systems for the data migration
- Knowledge and proven experience with “Ataccama MDC” would be advantageous
- Skills on expert level to setup complex transformation logic in “SAP Data Services“
- Ability to define applicable test scenarios for data transformations in “SAP Data Services” strongly desired
- Knowledge of the “ATLASSIAN” tool suite for test and documentation; i.e. “JIRA” and “CONFLUENCE” or comparable tools
- Proven background in the relevant IT disciplines for the above
- Strong background in payment card industry is a significant advantage
- Good skills in the German (min. C1) and English (min. C1) language
