SAP ABAP/HANA Technical Lead
Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a SAP ABAP/HANA Technical Lead to be based in Zurich, Switzerland
Role Type: Contract, 100%
Base Location: Zurich, Switzerland
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months+ (up to 18 month project)
Rate: max CHF700/day (all inclusive)
Requirements:
- Strong technical competencies on SAP environments (ABAP, HANA) and Databases (SQL)
- Previously worked on a minimum of 3 implementation projects
- Previous Technical lead experience
- Prior experience working within a Financial institution
- English only, German would be desirable
Responsibilities:
- Technical lead of/Conducting regular global rollouts of SAP FICO and Group Master Data Template (customizing/tools/apps) for the corporate consolidation process
- Finance transformation implementing SAP ERP New GL as work-stream manager in the area solution architecture and interfaces
- Process consulting (Financial closing activities and system integration)
- Controller and Business Analyst with responsibility for financial closing activities
- Analysis of business cases in the area financial and actuarial processes and design implementation
- Verification of design and system implementation
- Compiling and global rollout of service catalogue and documentation as per the ITIL library
- Functional/Change Management and 1st and 2nd level support (Incident, Change, Problem resolution) for SAP FICO, FS-CD and FS-RI
- Responsibilities in/Management of UAT activities for SAP, non-SAP and integrated system environments
- Specification and implementation of changes/IT projects mainly for SAP and SQL
- Administration and design of DWH SQL databases in the area of reinsurance actuarial processes
- Data migration/interfacing in SAP (eg BAPI) and non-SAP
- Continuous optimization of SAP, non-SAP and integrated system processes in regards of automation, performance improvements and standardization
- Design and implementation responsibility for a replacement project for the reserving/analytical database
