Solution Architect (SAP Aii & OER)

We are a Life Science and IT service provider that has been successfully carrying out ‘state-of-the- art’ projects for international customers for more than 20 years. Our consultants mainly work on our customer’s premises, integrated in the customer’s project team.

Background:

Our clients project is focusing on building specific capabilities to manage serialized products in the distribution centers, to do compliance reporting where governmental health authorities are requesting it and to be able to exchange required data with 3PL’s as well as to integrate to our Contact Manufacturers. It is also rolling out these capabilities to allow affiliates to manage serialized and (where required) aggregated products.
The backbone system is SAP Aii and OER.
This project started in 2010 with building capabilities to create serialized products in our packaging lines and to manage them in the manufacturing warehouses as well as three distribution centers. Currently we are defining and building systems to support the distribution centers at our affiliates to manage the serialized products. This includes integration to the EU system and other regions. We are also expanding our CMO network.

Tasks:

Design, build, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance existing system functionality; develop new features per business requirements. Focus on SAP Aii and OER system.
Create system documentation, including functional and technical specifications, installation scripts, OQs/PQs, test plans, and scripts.
Ensure validation, audit, and legal compliance of system throughout lifecycle.
Provide content knowledge on Incident, Problem, and ?Change management processes to appropriate IT teams.
Collaborate with other IT teams to implement solutions that optimize operational performance of system.
Drive coordination of activities for small-to-medium changes in area of ?responsibility; provide 2nd/3rd level support.
Help drive process improvement initiatives to optimize user experience and business understanding of solution.
Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of expertise as consultant or functional expert in SAP SCM (Supply Chain Management), especially SAP OER and SAP Aii including ITS Mobile
Minimum 3-5 years hands-on configuration and/or development experience
Expert knowledge of GS1 standards, in particular EPCIS and GS1 standards required
Detailed knowledge of supply chain and logistics business processes required
Expert in deploying and monitoring SAP solutions across a multi-system landscape using various interface technologies (iDoc, PI, etc.). Basic knowledge of SAP PI necessary.
Knowledge of ITIL, skilled in problem/incident & change management, and full lifecycle system support
Experience conducting requirements analysis and design sessions with business process owners
Must be able to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
Must work result-oriented and have a track record of timely, high-quality deliverables
Excellent verbal/written communications skills in English; strong presentation and negotiation/conflict resolution skills.


Nice to Have:?

Knowledge of CSV and experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other validated environment highly desired.
Expertise in SAP WM, SD, MM or PP would be a plus
Good knowledge of Business Process Modelling and BPMN
Former Pharma experience with similar tasks
German
