For our customer, we would like to fill the following vacancy:

System Business Analyst HR Global Mobility
As part of the deployment of a new IT solution (Polaris) to support the management of International Assignees we are looking for a Business Analyst who will support the delivery of phase 4 of the project. This will focus on non-cash cost tracking and payroll integration.

The solution supporting International Assignment management is a cloud based solution providing an electronic assignee case management system interfaced with SAP’s main HR systems. It aims to deliver a better customer service, workflow / documentation management, process improvements and streamlining as well as an overall enhancement of the assignee experience.

This phase of the project focuses especially on:
• Payroll integration
• Cost tracking implementation

The analysis and planning has been prepared in 2015, for an implementation early 2016 and delivery by mid-2016.

The project team needs to be strengthened with dedicated resources, including HRIT business analysts who will be able to design and support implementation all the processes required to track, process and analysis the total cost of assignees, including interfacing of the solution with Internal and External Payroll systems.

The Business Analyst will be in charge of:
- Analysis and support the implementation of the Payroll interface between the Polaris Global Mobility system and the in-house SAP Payroll systems in Switzerland, Germany, US, and China
- Analysis and support the Payroll interface between the Polaris Global Mobility system with payroll providers outside the organization for selected affiliates.
- Design and support implementation, together with the respective local payroll responsible the interfaces required.
- Analysis and support the servicing and support model required for smooth experience of International Assignees while the solution will be deployed.
- Execute the plan for implementation, testing and change management and delivery of the proposed solutions in 2016
- Design reports and analytics based on the input data set

The Global Mobility IT Business Analyst manager expected competencies are:
- Proven records as Business Analyst in HRIT, having strong experience with HR Global Mobility and International Assignment processes.
- An understanding of the nature of assignment related cost data when used for actual and shadow payroll reporting
- A strong understanding of data validation and the importance of this in reporting to fiscal authorities
- An understanding of payroll reconciliation processes
- SAP Payroll experience
- Experience with Polaris Global Mobility solution (or equivalent system).
- Analytical, logical problem resolution skills
- Knowledge of application systems development methodology with the ability to analyze, design, implement, test and release solutions.
- Experience in working in a global environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills

The business analyst will be integrated within an international project team and work under supervision of the project manager. The project office will be located in the Basel area.

The Business Analyst position for this project is to be filled as of January 1st for a duration of 6 months.
