Senior JEE Engineer
Our client, headquartered in Zurich, is an important subsidiary of a global company in the finance industry. We are looking for JEE Engineer for a contract position based in Zürich.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Senior in JEE engineer with interest in testing (eg automated testing with Selenium or Performance testing)
- 8+ years' experience in IT (development, architecture)
- An engineering mindset in terms of structured analysis of complex systems and problem approaching
- A high level of abstraction skills to create strategies and planning for tests of IT systems
- A good domain know-how in financial industries and preferable trading and risk systems
- A recent hands-on knowledge for Java (Architecture, Design-Pattern, Run-time), Oracle certified preferred
- Knowing test automation frameworks, like Webtest, TestNG or Selenium would be of advantage
- Any of the following skills in advantageous: Database performance tuning, Distributed Caches (like coherence), Linux/Unix system tuning
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English is essential
MUST haves:
- Java experience
- Experience in testing
- At least 6-8 years IT knowledge
- Fluency in English
