SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER/ARCHITECT
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer/Architect, for a long term contract based in Geneva.
Your main responsibilities will be;
- Product management: functional and technical management of part or complete large software products
- Management of projects teams of software engineers (on a per project basis):
- work dispatch
- technical leadership
- coding quality insurance
- Involvement in the complete development life cycle of the products:
- Analysis: direct contact with clients and capture of business requirements
- Design: functional and technical specifications, architectural design taking into account production constraints of large critical software solutions (performance, security, scalability,)
- Development: code architecture and implementation (directly or by project team members)
The skills, experience and profile needed for this position are;
- Master degree in computer science, software engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in a Software Engineering position focusing on large software solution development
- Creativity
- Complex software architecture design experience
- Willingness to constantly learn and progress
- Ability to communicate in both technical and nontechnical ways with colleagues and clients
- Perfect command of English, French an asset
- Eager to understand and solve complex business and technical problems
- Enthusiast and passionate about computer sciences, software engineering and software development skills
- Software architecture: Client Server, n-tiers, elastic cloud computing, SOA
- Design patterns and methodologies
- Object Oriented programming
- Database design: MS SQL Server, Oracle or other DBMS (data management, programming and performance optimization)
- Modern web, mobile and API clients architecture and development experience
- NET Framework (C#) expertise
