We have an immediate need for an English speaking Performance Test Analyst to work on a 6 month contract in Zurich.
Responsibilities
- Support performance test execution in development, test, and production environments for each build, sprint, and release in the iterative development life cycle
- Create basic concepts of performance measurements, load performance (processing times, OS resource consumption) and time measurements
- Responsible for the budget and time estimation for development and test tasks
- Prepare reports on the progress including time budget, scope and issues
- Defect management, from defect logging and tracking to closure, as well as providing metrics
- Preparing summary report and providing sign-offs and other key Testing activities
- Review of Testing Requirements
- Development with Java, JEE, Oracle JDK/OpenJDK, ANSI-C, C++, Weblogic Server, WLS, n-tier applications, Buildserver, JUnit, Oracle Coherence, synchronous & asynchronous message processing
- Be the single point of contact for other organizational initiatives within the project
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of Performance Testing using Rational tools at least 3+ years being in the financial domain
- Previous development experience in JAVA, JEE, Oracle JDK/OpenJDK, ANSI-C, C++, Weblogic Server, WLS, n-tier applications, Buildserver, JUnit, Oracle Coherence, synchronous & asynchronous message processing
- Experience conducting performance testing builds for enterprise application built on Java
- Profiling experience: Methods for identification of the main contributor to processing times, Thread/Memory/Heap dump analysis, Memory Management, Thread Management using various Profilingtools such as, Dynatrace, Yourkit, visualvm, jhat, jstat, jstack, btrace, JAMon, Introscope, JConsole, JMC and general: code instrumentation (Btrace, AspectJ, ASM)
- Knowledge of various testing tools, such as HP Quality Center, QTP, Selenium, Webtest, LoadRunner, Grinder and/or JMeter
- Strong analytical, conceptual and client facing skills
- Previous exposure to complex projects in a demanding environment
- Experience of working in international teams with an offshore component
- Excellent communication skills and fluent in English
