Network Security Engineer you would act as a Subject Matter Expert for Zone Simplification. Service include network and security engineering and project support for Connectivity Services Switzerland to retire Legacy datacentre network and security zones.
Main responsibilities:
- Supports the Connectivity Services Switzerland with his/her technical know-how in datacentre networks and security zoning concepts
- Supports our clients on network and security related problems our clients may face with migrations out of Legacy environments
- Supports our organization in identifying technical dependencies and also between projects
- Project support for Connectivity Services Switzerland in small projects with an effort less than 30 person days in total and includes:
- Definition of small work packages for application owners, server operations, networks and provisioning
- Tracking and reporting the execution of the work packages
Requirements:
- Good knowledge about Checkpoint, Juniper and Palo Alto security technology, Cisco on switching and routing side.
- Speaking and writing in German and English is a must.
- Experience gained in large international environments
