Support Citrix Second and Third Level
Our client, headquartered in Zurich, is an important subsidiary of a global company in the banking industry. We are looking for an experienced Supporter with Citrix and VDI environment. For this contract position based in Zürich, our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Second and Third Level Support of the Citrix infrastructure
- Second and Third Level Support of the VDI environment
- Second and Third Level Support of the Juniper and Netscaler gateways
- Change Management (eg server patching, software updates, )
- Write technical documentations and SOP or update these documentations
- Regular on-call support 7 days a week
- Participation in weekend and evening work (BCM and Infra maintenance)
- Participate in infrastructure projects
Required Experience/Skills
- At least 5 years of experience in supporting Citrix and VDI environments
- At least 5 years of experience in supporting Remote Access solutions
- Team player
- Good communicator
- Verbal and written communication skills in English
- Verbal and written communication skills in German would be appreciated
- Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
- Residence in Switzerland (for on-call reasons - needs a Swiss IP to connect)
- Solid understanding of the actual virtualization products from various vendors. eg
- Citrix Presentation Server 4
- Citrix XenApp 6, 6.5 and 7.5
- Citrix XenDesktop
- Citrix Netscaler
- SCCM
- VMware
- Juniper gateway
- o AppV
