Our client, a major Pharma global player is currently looking for a Solution Architect (Documentum) for a 9 months contract in Basel.
The role is for a candidate who works as part of a team to develop and maintain internal technology platform for business enterprises in the domain of document management based on Documentum/D2.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong command of a wide range of technical skills related to architecting solutions, project management and provision of services in a GxP environment.
Project scope:
- Overall design, delivery and deployment of the Documentum platform components, practices and processes according to business needs
- Coordinating and providing consultancy to Business Application Architects with regard to implementation and configuration of the underlying platform components
- Leading technical impact assessment of new software releases and patching on the platform and in collaboration with application Solution Architects on the impact on the hosted business applications
- Analysing technical impact of change requests on the platform setup and configuration
- Overseeing generation of installation scripts (IQ) and reviews/approves their execution
- Leading analysis of defects and works with the engineering team on their resolution
- Translating application sizing requirements into infrastructure requirements
- Overseeing the delivery of infrastructure components
- Defining requirements on the infrastructure components, eg pre-requisites, parameters, sizing
- Defining Disaster Recovery Plan and Test Plan

- Expert in Oracle and Relational DBs and SQL (8 years)
- Expert in SAN/NAS (8 years)
- Expert in Virtualisation (8 years)
- Expert in BEA Weblogic (8 years)
- Expert in OO-Development (8 years)
- Expert with Scripts (8 years)
- Expert in Change Management (8 years)
- ITIL Expert with 5 years practice
- Expert in Project Management (8 years)
- Expert in Communication (8 years)
