For our client, a large, international insurance Company we are looking for a

Part-time (50%) PMO with experience in Financial Services and a gift for Communication (2713)

You will be part of the Actuarial Landscape Finance (ALF) program which will bring the actuarial processes and systems to a new level. It includes the implementation of a managed hosted solution for actuarial modeling, the improvement of the actuarial models for group and individual life portfolio, the enhancement of data feeds, the evaluation of solution options for eliminating technology risks stemming from an outdated system, and the implementation of a data warehouse for actuarial data.

Key Tasks & Accountabilities
Performs qualitative and quantitative reviews of project and/or program deliverables.
Ensures Quality Assurance requirements are met
Provides training in project management, tools and techniques
Improves project/program delivery in terms of lower costs, reduced time and increased product quality by providing program/project management expertise
Enforces standard project management framework and tools
Increases visibility into project / program status enabling correct decision making and actions to be taken more effectively
Improves control over the project governance processes (e.g. CITO, PAP)
Centralizes a consistent, and up-to-date reporting to all stakeholders
Supports project portfolio management for the respective area
Supports Program Manager as well the Project managers in any tasks
Special support for Financials Control may also at request
Actively contributes to the Zurich PMO network

Qualifications / Experience
University degree or equivalent
Experience within business administration (Finance) or IT environment (preferably SAP)
At least 2-3 years experiences as a Project Management Officer
Experience of working within Financial Services preferably in insurance company within an outsourced IT environment would be an advantage
Strong methodology knowledge to analyse and structure a complex environment.
Strong knowledge of MS Office products
Knowledge of PMP / SDLC / Agile project management methodologies (Scrum)
Awareness of financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting and controlling
Clear, understandable and structured communication depending on recipient level
Ability to reduce complex situation into graphical presentation slides
Fluent spoken and written German and English
