DB Automation Project Manager
DB Automation Project Manager needed to drive the database automation strategy and direction across the bank's large database estate for our client in Zurich.
Your tasks:
- Assuming responsibility for the project management of the individual work streams as directed by the Programme Director
- Defining, communicating, executing & monitoring the project plan, scheduling and prioritising specifically to individual activities, in line with agreed requirements, with appropriate work packages and key milestones
- Managing the project through risk planning, establishing appropriate mitigations and contingency plans communicated to the Programme Director and key stakeholders
- Establishing and embedding benefit realisation management for the project using an appropriate and industry recognised methodology
- Meeting financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions
Your experience/skills:
- 10+ years of work experience in project management or equivalent manager position
- Solid understanding of DB automation
- Know-how of project management techniques and tools, furthermore advanced experience in IT infrastructure and DBMS (Oracle and MS-SQL)
- Proven experience in risk and change management as well as in strategic planning
- Languages: English fluently, German would be a big plus
