For a project at our banking client in Zurich we are looking for a
Project Manager in Security IT with experience in vendor management (2701)
Job Responsibilities
This role is to deliver a network monitoring solution that records all network traffic on major Internet links.
The network monitoring solution can be thought of as a CCTV camera for networks that it is used for.
In the case of an attack or an incident it should help to understand what exactly happened.
The solution consists of 2 components:
- A Netflow Recorder, which captures the Netflows for 12 months on all Internet Links and stores them into Splunk
- A Full Packet Capture, which records 48 hours of complete packet data on Internet links globally
The project manager will be responsible for delivering a global roll-out of the solution, starting with an RFP, management of legal & regulatory data protection requirements, to the actual deployment and operational integration of the technology.
Job Requirements
- Experience managing global projects, ideally PM certifications
- Experience managing different vendors, including managing RFPs
- Experience with Rational Unified Process (RUP)
- Experience with networking/networks design
- Ideally, experience with Nikson or comparable network monitoring products from FireEye, IBM, Bluecoat, or RSA
- Strong analytical skills to analyse complex problems, develop solutions, and build consensus around those solutions
- Experience in large FSI corporations
- Ability to work across time zones, hierarchy levels, and cultures
- Assertiveness, can-do attitude, attention to detail, ability to work independently, fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Bachelor or higher university degree
