This role is to deliver a network monitoring solution that records all network traffic on major Internet links. The network monitoring solution can be thought of as a CCTV camera for networks that is used in case of attacks and incidents to understand what exactly happened. The solution consists of 2 components:
A. A Netflow Recorder, which captures on all Internet Links the Netflows for 12 months and stores them into Splunk.
B. A Full Packet Capture, which records 48 hours of complete packet data on Internet links in Switzerland, US, UK, Australia, Hong-Kong, Japan, and Singapore.
The project manager will be responsible for delivering a global roll-out of the solution, starting with an RFP, management of legal & regulatory data protection requirements, to the actual deployment and operational integration of the technology.
Requirements:
* Experience managing global projects, ideally PM certifications, ideally experience with Rational Unified Process (RUP, which is used by the client)
* Experience with networking/networks design
* Ideally, experience with Nikson or comparable network monitoring products from FireEye, IBM, Bluecoat, or RSA
* Strong analytical skills to analyse complex problems, develop solutions, and build consensus around those solutions
* Experience in large FSI corporations
* Ability to work across time zones, hierarchy levels, and cultures
* Assertiveness, can-do attitude, attention to detail, ability to work independently, fluent in English (spoken and written)
* Bachelor or higher university degree

Scope and complexity of role: Level 3 staff act as experts and managers in their area and usually work on products and/or processes of low to medium complexity. They may also be involved in coordinating activities that extend beyond own area of expertise. They deal with client groups of medium complexity. Span of Control: Level 3 staff are typically responsible for a small to medium size team. As line managers, they are responsible for results-oriented management.
