Role Purpose:

Manage projects to provide business solutions. Give the project team directions and maintain control of progress, quality and budget and provide technical consulting.
Works with client groups to identify and analyze business requirements and processes to design, develop and implement systems. Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and recommends system design solutions and support on-going project.

Major Accountabilities:
Manage application migration project
Monitor and track project
Manage and represent the project from start-up to completion.
Plan and organize the project, allocate internal and/or external resources to accomplish project tasks.
Lead the project staff.
Be responsible for achieving the project objectives. Manage quality, timeliness and cost of the deliverables. Maintain control over the project's status and budget.
Report project status and issues where help is needed to the Program Manager.
Ensure compliance with the ICE methodology and IGM rules & guidelines.
Researches and evaluates alternative solutions, and recommends the most efficient and cost effective solution for the systems/program design and develops system specification.

Key Performance Indicators/Measures Of Success:
Achieve agreed targets in terms of quality, time and cost.
Adhere to defined management and delivery processes for IT projects and other policies relevant to the project scope (eg HW/SW standards, CSV, Information Protection).
Ensure delivery of project results according to agreed quality, schedules and cost while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Lead the assigned project personnel to jointly achieve a high customer satisfaction.

Skills:
Self-managed working style
Strong time management skills
Experience with MS web applications
ICE certificate
At least 2 year project management experience in Novartis
Familiar with the IGM rules & guidelines
Strong communication skills
At least 2 year experience with Business requirement analysis and conversion
Joined-up thinking
Ability to recognise and manage dependencies and complex correlations
Proven Project Management skills
Experience in solution architecture, MS SQL databases and interfaces
Data and process modelling

Must have:

Project Management - min. 5 Years experience

German and English is a must, Swiss German and French a plus

Work location: Rotkreuz

Start: 09.03.15 to 30.06.15

Duration: 4 months +

Permits required: EU citizen or valid work permit

Workload: 80%
