On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a Senior Banking Business Program Architect. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of 10+ years of demonstrable solution architect experience in financial services.
  • Broad business architecture knowledge that encompasses business models, service design, processes, systems & infrastructure
  • Bachelor level Degree or equivalent in numerical based discipline (eg Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics etc.) or equivalent
  • A hands-on practitioner with a successful track record of leading and delivering large, complex change programs encompassing business and technology change.
  • Experience in modelling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques and an appreciation of how to develop a robust pragmatic architecture.
  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to act in a leadership position and to interact efficiently with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels with the organization.
  • Excellent relationship, interpersonal and organizational skills with a highly client focused attitude/approach, and the ability to build strong and lasting relationships.
  • Ability to visualize and create high-level operating models and other representations which present different views of the business at varying levels of detail and can be adjusted as required for complex scenarios
  • Ability to translate business level information through to technical/development teams & personnel (both internal & external) - using architecture frameworks and models
  • Ability to design and develop roadmaps and target operating models
  • Fluent English, written and spoken

Description:

  • As a key member of the CFO/COO organization, you will play a vital role in driving the alignment of business strategy to the operational and IT design (and associated process, models and roadmaps to achieve tactical and strategic delivery).
  • You will have strong stakeholder management involvement and must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders, at all levels, throughout the group.
  • As part of the wider Portfolio Management group you will have the opportunity to make a difference and help drive transformational change throughout the organization by being involved with high calibre, high profile programs and senior stakeholders.
  • Deliver objective architectural recommendations and follow-on actions to senior Change Leads and Program Managers
  • On the basis of considerable delivery experience, provide pragmatic and constructive feedback;
  • challenge program practices, assumptions and forecasts when necessary,
  • business models, service design, processes, systems & infrastructure and the development approach: design, delivery and implementation
  • Lead architecture workshops and focus groups for senior stakeholders
