Data Centre Architect (Contract, Zurich)

For our client, a world leader with headquarters in Zurich, Swisslinx are urgently searching for a highly motivated and competent

In this challenging role, you will provide technical lead to enterprise solutions. You will be involved in the sign-off of an outsourced solution for a data centre migration and will be the technical design authority that will sign-off the solution and assess if it is suitable. You will provide knowledge in areas like methodologies, standards, frameworks and products as well as technical leadership for design to deployment activities, performance reviews and problem solving.

This is a contract in Zurich.
The start date is ASAP.
The contract duration is 3 months, with possible extensions.
The project language is English. Fluency in English is expected.

For this position we are searching for a candidate with 10+ years' Data Centre, DC migration and consolidation. You have experience in Discovery tools, Move/Copy/Build planning and platform virtualisation. You are familiar with data management, data protection technologies and data centre facility efficiency. You have gathered data centre experience in transformation programmes and have expertise in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.
