System Engineer
Our client are seeking a System Engineer with extensive experience in Linux to join their Core Application Team to manage & network large Linux Enviornments.
Reporting to the Core Application Manager, the System Engineer will be responsible for:
- Monitoring/Performance tuning on RedHat
- Network Troubleshooting
- Linux, Unix and Solaris Administration
- Linux Troubleshooting
The ideal RedHat Linux Application Engineer will have the following skills and experience:
- Very Strong Linux administration skills
- Multicast network awareness
- Management of medium to large Linux environments, in a structured organization
- Knowledge and/or experience of agile working methods (especially scrum)
- Team player
- Microsoft & Windows experience beneficial
