For a long term project at our banking client site in Zurich we are looking for a

German Speaking DB Automation Expert with PM Experience (2661)

The ideal candidate will have proven experience with large scale databases and has experience in project management of complex / large scale environments. Our client is looking for a PM with technical hands-on capabilities.

Job Responsibilities:

To assume responsibility for the project management of the individual work streams as directed by the Programme Director
To achieve high performance on all aspects of project delivery, in line with commitments made
Define, communicate, execute & monitor the project plan, schedule and prioritise specific and individual activities in line with agreed requirements and define appropriate work packages and key milestones
Manage the project through risk planning establishing appropriate mitigations and contingency plans communicated to the Programme Manager and key Stakeholders
Establishing and embedding benefit realisation management for the project using an appropriate and industry recognised methodology for the purpose of delivering the strategic objectives defined in the programme
To meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions

Education and Experience (10 years+):

Proven experience in project management of complex environments
Deep knowledge of large scale databases
Experience in projects with infrastructure cloud would be an advantage
Must have proven experience in IT infrastructure and DBMS (Oracle and MS-SQL - latest release versions)
Fluent English and German
