For a four months project at our client, an international insurance company based in Zurich, we are looking for an experiencedSenior PMO within an IT Program (2663)
This position includes the following tasks:
Ensure that client\'s standard project management framework is followed
Construct master plan and support workstream leads in their planning
Control and monitor progress and project financials
Produce regular project status reporting on various levels (project, steering)
Implement issues and risk management tools and processes
Plan and lead the production of client\'s project approval documentation
Plan and lead preparation of a request for proposal (RFP) process for a software package implementation
Ensures appropriate governance procedures are followed
To fulfill these tasks we are looking for a candidate who has a proven track of PMO experience in large, complex international programs (>20m) and ideally have already set up and implemented a project management office structure in a large organisation.
In addition the ideal candidate meets the following requirements:
Proven experience in project preparation phases and RFP process support
>7 years experience in large and complex IT programs in PMO role
3-5 years experience in a project management role highly desirable
Experience with MS-Project
Fluent spoken and written English, able to:
actively take part in meetings and conferences and communicate effectively
composing reports and technical explanations
German language skills would be a plus
