Junior Project Manager/Coordinator - Banking IT
Our client is a large Swiss based bank, and they are seeking a Junior Project Manager to reinforce their growing team. Based within their IT team, this person will liaise closely with stakeholders across various geographical locations and various teams.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will act primarily as the coordinator within the project, working with all areas of the team. You will support the project manager who is responsible for the analysis of IT systems for sensitive data, and in doing so will work with Application Owners, Database Administrators, and other Project Managers.
- Preparation of new requests ie data and information gathering and cross checking, notifying application owners regarding the request received and the process that follows
- Coordinate meeting invites to discuss the scope of the scan request and target databases to be scanned.
- Introduce all relevant members involved in a request and their applicable roles
- Complete a checklist and update template document with discussions from the application meeting. Acquire sign off and confirmation to proceed.
- Coordinate a copy date/time and advise of impact on users
- Raise the request for the DBA to make the copy to secure zone.
- Correspond with application owners and requests on status
Candidates with the following experience will be considered:
- Experience within IT or Banking
- A strong interest in IT and Banking
- Excellent English communication skills
- Switzerland based and available with 2 weeks notice
