For a Project at our insurance client site in Zurich we are looking for an experiencedDatabase Analyst with expert knowledge in SQL, ETL & Markit (2653)
Job Responsibilities:
Assess, implement and maintain the database designs and data models to meet integration and reporting needs for the long term.
Responsible for the conceptual, logical and physical data models and database objects (tables, indexes, partitioning etc.)
Tune database queries
Document pseudo logic attribute specifications through the layers of the data integration solution
Your qualification:
MANDATORY: Experience with or technical knowledge of Markit EDM
Oracle PL/SQL: extensive experience with SQL programming (SQL Server preferred)
Data Modeling using industry standard toolsets such as Erwin, Powerdesigner etc
Good understanding and ability to demonstrate the data modeling techniques across operational, integration and reporting platforms (ODS, DWH'ing, Data Mart designs)
Proven experience implanting conceptual, logical and physical database design: including performance tuning techniques on DB design level and data standards
A good knowledge of Data security management
A good knowledge of ETL design and development techniques
Sound knowledge of data profiling and providing clear understanding to users of the complexity of the data within the landscape form their findings.
Experience of insurance, finance, and/or actuarial is essential
