We are looking specifically looking for a Excel VBA Programmer to work with one of our Banking and Investment clients.
Other desired tool sets but not critical: RAD development in .NET environment + SQL server C++
Data providers integration:
Bloomberg, Reuters, brokers feeds Advantages experience would include working on pricing sheets - Curve building or risk views and familiarity with Interest rate risk. A software engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions from small components, to entire applications, to owning the development of software solutions spanning multiple complex systems. Software Engineers will adhere to the established life cycle methodology and practices, in accordance to project plans while carrying out their responsibilities. Director and Executive Director Software Engineers will be expected to have significant domain expertise in one or more technical areas and be responsible for mentoring and delegating work to multiple Application Developers.
Work Experience: Minimum 3 Years
Scope and complexity of role: Level 2 staff deal with a variety of standard and non-standard activities for a team or a certain area as experts and/or as supervisors. This may include administrative or professional work and keeping processes and data up-to-date.
Span of Control: Level 2 staff typically manage a small team. As line managers, they are responsible for results-oriented management. This includes: active employee management based on the clients management principles; adherence to budget and compliance rules and to the relevant internal guidelines and legal provisions; supervision of daily operational business. They work within clearly defined processes, with sufficient leeway for their own input.
Organizational impact: Level 2 staff impact is mainly within the team as a proactive resource supporting change processes and procedures.
