Harvey Nash is looking for an Associate scientist in Biologics Process Research and Development - Pharmaceutical Development for a 12 month project in Switzerland.

The role is for a candidate to support the manufacturing of non-GMP preclinical toxicology material, and formulation and manufacturing process development of parenteral dosage forms of therapeutic proteins for preclinical and clinical studies.

You are responsible for

  • manufacturing of non-GMP drug product batches following aseptic manufacturing procedures (including compounding, filtration, filling, labelling)
  • planning, conduction, documentation, reporting of results of scientific experiments for drug product formulation or process development
  • basic protein analytics (UV assay, turbidimetry, sub visible particles, etc.)
  • organisation of raw materials, disposables, and equipment
  • timely availability of experimental protocols, data and reports, as well as a high quality of samples and batches produced and of the technical documentation

    Requirements

  • Technician (Laborant) with continuing education or BS degree or a College of Applied Science Diploma or equivalent. Strong background in pharmaceutics
  • Ideally, experience in formulation and process development of parenteral dosage forms, with focus on proteins. Familar with sterile working techniques
  • Good command of English (working language, oral and written)
