For a project at our banking client site in Zurich, we are looking for anExpert user in SAP FI/CO with strong Project Management skills (2558)
The role as expert user in SAP CO and SAP FI includes the following responsibilities:
• Support requests regarding accounting processes, maintaining master data and processing postings. Further interfaces to downstream systems including reconciliation between the applications.
• Analyse incidents in daily processes and monthly closing of the SAP books including all related interfaces ensuring the integrity of the banks accounting processes in conformance with accounting policy and company timelines. Involve, where applicable, IT to fix bugs.
• Lead in procedure improvement activities creating efficiencies while minimizing risk and making processes more efficient and reliable.
• Support onshore analysis of business processes and requirements, document change requests, working closely with IT during realisation phase, covering tests and assisting implementation into production of underlying systems.
From the ideal candidate we expect strong analytical and problem solving skills, excellent project leading skills and solid accounting knowhow combined with deep user knowledge in SAP FI and CO, preferably experience in project work (change management). Further the following experience/qualification are required:
• Experience in financial accounting with SAP CO and SAP FI including sub modules Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets
• Customizing SAP FI and CO, ideally ABAP coding knowhow
• Must be proficient in financial analysis with strong Excel and Access skills and an aptitude to work with complex scenarios
• An innovative approach in problem solving and drive to address proactively possible areas of improvement
• The candidate must have excellent communication skills in English and German both written and oral and proven experience in facilitate between parties in difficult situations
