Storage Specialist - SAN/NAS (m/f)
Storage Specialist - SAN/NAS (m/f) wanted for our client in Zurich, Switzerland.
The project: Administration and support of the storage infrastructure in different divisions within a major bank.
Your tasks:
- Leading and participating in multiple infrastructure projects
- Third Level Support of EMC VMAX, HDS VSP with regional and global counterparts
- Writing/updating technical documentations for related infrastructure and installation which will include, but will not be limited to the following technologies:
- ENV: SAN, Backup
- HW: EMC VMAX, EMC ISILON, HDS VSP, Cisco MDS, 3PAR
- OS: NXOS
- Improving and implementing them in regional or global scale
- Communicating and collaborating with other internal partners for designing, planning and coordinating for implementation
Your experience/skills:
- 5+ years experience in supporting storage environment in a large setting
- Solid understanding of a storage system like EMC VMAX, HDS VSP
- Ability to write scripts in administrative languages
- Experience with at least 2 of the following products are mandatory:
- EMC VMAX, EMC Isilon, Cisco MDS SAN Switch, HDS VSP
- Profound understanding of fundamental networking/distributed computing and storage environment concepts and technologies - LAN, WAN, routing protocols, NFS, DNS, NIS, LDAP, SAN, NAS
