Harvey Nash is looking for a Excel-VBA Developer for a 13 days project with extension possible for re-design of current solution in Switzerland.
You are responsible for
- Enhancing and stabilizing the application that supports the calculation of the Royalties payments. The application receives web based data and is built on VBA Excel (Microsoft Excel 2010)
- Updates of figures and that the outcome of the calculations is exported
- Debugging and streamlining the existing solution with appropriate documentation
- Re-design of the solution at a second phase
Requirements
- Several years of Excel-VBA development experience
- Specific expertise in developing solutions focused on data integration, data manipulation and calculation routines
- Experience in creating reporting mechanisms with Excel VBA
- Proven experience in Excel VBA data integration with external sources
- Excellent debugging skills
- Sound Business analysis skills
- Elicitation of requirements
- Communication skills
- Documentation skills
- Analytic skills important, as the person needs to analyse current application (find the bug)
- Language: English is a must, German a plus
