The Linux Engineer will coordinate with customers and members of the engineering/In-Service Engineering Activity team to support development efforts.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the administration of advanced Red Hat Linux systems in an operational environment including installation, configuration, and maintenance of Red Hat Linux OS on both stand alone and virtual machines (VMware)
- Work with the team to plan, design, and perform a variety of systems administration and operational support services for Linux Servers in a network supporting an operational enterprise environment
- Support the Linux team that maintains data files and control procedures for a complex system of networked computers
- Provide guidance to lesser-experienced systems administrators
To be considered for this role you will need:
- Atleast 7 years experience working in a Linux Environment
- Fluent German
- Experience working with Redhat 5/6
