Randstad Professionals is actively looking to find an open-minded and motivated Senior Program Manager to join our client in Zurich, Switzerland. This is a great opportunity to live in one of the most interesting and financially stable cities in Switzerland.
Role Summary:
Our client is seeking a senior Program Manager to drive the desktop program including requirements formalization, engineering delivery and quality phase gates, technology transformation, organizational transformation, and end user adoption in the desktop technology space.
Our client has an extensive amount of desktop users and a variety of end user usage scenarios that need to be catered to. This program will be introducing a technology strategy transformation around the desktop offerings at our client including changes to software provisioning, desktop OS and end-points in scope.
This is an exciting, challenging and rewarding role for a dynamic senior program manager with a passion for delivering excellent projects and services.
The core responsibilities for this role will cover the following:
- Program deliverables definition and formalizes acceptance of those requirements and deliverables accordingly
- Manage the overall program plan
- Manage the Engineering, Product Management and Operational streams
- Manage PMO activities including STC, meeting structure and minutes, risks, issues and actions and dependencies management
The role will be highly visible within the end user community and will frequently help customers, suppliers and peers on technical matters related to end user desktop services. They will build high-quality desktop services and ensure the successful transition of those services into a production product/solution.
Qualifications:
- Technical Infrastructure project management
- Program management experience
- End user technology project management skills: Desktop, Collaboration, Lync, Voice, Email, Instant Message
- PMO management skills
