On behalf of our client, one of the most recognizable banking brands worldwide, Swisslinx are looking for a dynamic and motivated Test Manager with strong experience leading international teams for a 6 month contract with a strong chance of extension in Zurich.

Job description:
As a Test Manager you lead a Test-Team of 15 people (onshore and offshore) in manual and automated Test execution, Defect Tracking and resource planning. Additionally you report regularly to Line Management and the Program (Status, Progress, Issues). The Goal is to assure the existing Portfolio Management and Reporting System meets the expected quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Test Manager Project for a Portfolio Advisory - and Monitoring Tool, with Reporting and Simulation Tool
- Manage test engineers to creates and execution of test cases for new functionalities and regression test
- Coordinate and manage the manual and automated testing, defect tracking, reporting.
- Collaborate with Release Management, Configuration Management for Version and Environment Management
- Collaborate with the scrum teams to align ongoing sprint cycles and its test and reporting execution
- Manage the close collaboration between Test Engineers and Requirement Engineering (Backlog/User stories and it's coverage with test cases)
- Report regularly progress status and issues to Project/Program lead and Line Management
For this position, the ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Minimum five years of Experience as a Test Manager in a Project with more than 10 Test Engineers
- Fluency in English
- Ideally experience in Portfolio Management Systems/Client Reporting
- Test Management experience in large and complex projects on multiple platforms (Unix, Web Applications, Mainframe)
- Banking or Financial Industry experience
- Certification in testing eg ISEB, ISTQB
- Strong Communication and presentation skills
- Strong command of Quality Center (Test Coverage and Progress Report)
- Strong Personality
- Excellent Communication and Negotiations Skills
