Experienced Consultant Strategic Delivery

Location: Zurich

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months extentions possible

  • As a lead member of the CFO/COO organization, you are part of the Banks strategic execution delivery and will advise and guide firm wide critical Initiatives
  • As part of the wider Portfolio Management group you will have the opportunity to make a difference and help drive transformational change throughout the organization by being involved with high calibre, high profile programs and senior stakeholders.
  • Deliver objective recommendations and follow-on actions to senior Change Leads and Program Managers
  • On the basis of considerable delivery experience, provide pragmatic and constructive feedback;
  • Challenge program practices, assumptions and forecasts when necessary,
  • Business models, service design, processes, systems & infrastructure and the development approach: Design, delivery and implementation
  • Continuously improve the client's's delivery capabilities and assurance standards. metrics KPIs
  • Lead workshops and focus groups for senior stakeholders
  • Coach and provide leadership to junior members of the team and organization

You Offer...

  • Proven track record of 10+ years of demonstrable consultant-like experience in financial services.
  • A hands-on practitioner with a successful track record of leading and delivering large, complex change programs encompassing business and technology change
  • Bachelor or equivalent degree
  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to act in a leadership position and to interact efficiently with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels with the organization.
  • Excellent relationship, interpersonal and organizational skills with a highly client focused attitude/approach, and the ability to build strong and lasting relationships.
  • Ability to think strategically but work tactically and able to delve into the detail when required.
  • Strong problem solving skills to resolve conflicts and to rapidly understand stakeholder issues and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated ability to write clear, concise business communication for multiple levels of audience (management, technical, user)
  • Ability to manage workload independently with only high level guidance and supervision

Preferable:

  • Broad business/solution architecture knowledge that encompasses business models, service design, processes, systems & infrastructure
  • Proven delivery background in Portfolio and Program Management, accreditation (eg PMI/Prince2/PMP)
  • Fluent English, written and spoken
